TIPS is the earliest organization on R&D of lead-acid battery and VRLA battery in China. TIPS has got a number of scientific and technological achievements. The institute has developed more than forty types of VRLA batteries with the capacity from 2Ah to 4000Ah covering the markets of communication, railway, power grid, photovoltaic system, electric tools, electric bicycles, electric vehicles, etc. The products have the characteristics of environmental friendly, long life, low self-discharge, low inner resistance, safe, wide-range of operating temperature.
